Book Study

Book Study - Virtual

Neural Education is excited to announce our newest program offering:  Book Study.  Each year we will highlight a different book that uses cutting edge Neural Science to apply in the classroom.

For the 2021/2022 School year, Neural Education Founder and author Kieran O'Mahony will be leading a hands-on deep dive into the Cognitive Learning Model covered in The Brain-Based Classroom (Routledge 2021).

The book study meets virtually once/month on Monday from September - May (we skip January).  Each  month a section of the chosen book is reviewed with discussion and conversations with the author(s) or Neural Education Champion.

ALL educators or welcome.  Joining the book study is free, but does require registration.

We look forward to partnering with you as we continue to connect neuroscience to teaching and learning.

"Finally, the science behind what works in learning.”

Rosa M Villareal, Principal Elementary School, WA

Each month we will dive into the featured Neural Science book and explore the relevant and timely topic that can be applied to the classroom.   By participating you will:

  • learn how to apply the topics in the book
  • potentially earn clock hours (separate fee)
  • connect with like-minded educators

Neural Education is THE thing - the thing that changed everything - the thing that returned my sanity - the thing that reignited my passion for teaching."
