Neural Education is excited to announce our fall book study.
See below for dates.
For fall 2024, Neural Education’s featured book is:
Beyond Behaviors
Embark on a transformative journey into the neuroscience of children's behaviors with Beyond Behaviors by Mona Delahooke. In this book study, we'll explore the intersection of brain science and compassion to support students’ social emotional learning and address behavioral challenges.
Drawing on cutting-edge research, Mona Delahooke unveils the underlying neurobiological reasons for behaviors and offers practical strategies rooted in compassion. Through engaging discussions and activities, we'll discover how understanding the brain-body connection can revolutionize our approach to supporting children's development and well-being.
Throughout the book study, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own practices, share insights and experiences, and collaborate with peers to develop a neural lens for supporting children's social-emotional and cognitive development.
Facilitated by Neural Education Champions, Tabitha Ellison, Mary Snyder, and Missy Widmann.
